"Russians are mostly enticed by Latvia's seaside recreation, fresh air and easy going manner. They are also interested in such cities as Sigulda, Kuldiga, Jurmala and Riga. When visiting rural guesthouses, they usually tend to go fishing and spend time in traditional Latvian saunas. Sometimes, the Russians visit two Baltic States during the same trip and proceed to Lithuania or Estonia, making use of our convenient travelling options. We have observed that Russians, when relaxing in Latvia, tend to fly for a couple of days to, for example, Milan, for shopping. Later, they return to Latvia, relax for a while and travel back home," pointed out the association Lauku celotajs's representative,Asnate Ziemele.
